Making Sense of Suffering

Suffering can make you bitter, depressed, confused, fearful, or angry and doubt the
existence of God, yet it can also foster a deeper understanding of life and the self.
Learn to transform trying times into stepping-stones to profound experiences of joy,
contentment, and spiritual freedom. Deepen and refine your understanding of suffering
and how it can enhance your spiritual maturity. The day is devoted to self-
transformation through introspection, meditation, and the study of sacred texts,
principally the story of Job, the Yoga Sutras, and the Bhagavad Gita.
A delicious vegetarian lunch will be provided.
